It sounds complicated and therein lies the trick....keep it simple!
It is easy to over complicate social media but with careful consideration you can formulate an effective strategy. Make sure it is one that you can commit to maintain, being consistent is key to successful social media.
So, stay focused be creative and take it seriously.
Keep it Real
Tell your followers about your business beliefs, where you (your brand) have come from and where you are heading. By giving your business a personal feel you will become approachable and build a reputation of trustworthiness.
Engaging content - its not only about your product/s
- Keep posts relevant to your business. Avoid bombarding your Fans every hour of the day - Facebook posts every 4-5 hours if you have more to say try Twitter (other avenues)
- Less sales jargon and more content marketing - offer your followers useful information browse YouTube for relevant & interesting videos or maybe post a blog from time to time, they will be more inclined to check back with you. Share information first, sell second
- Engaging with fans and friends is the name of the game, this is where you measure how effective your page is. Create opinion polls, by asking direct questions you are more likely to get your fans actively partaking on your page.

Be Intentional
Calls to action need to be purposeful, think of this when setting up your facebook page. Consider a landing page (more on this in my next post). Compelling fans to "Like" and "Share" will be simply done with interesting and thoughtful content posts.
Be clear of your goals:
- Accumulate friends and fans
- Engage with interesting and relevant content
- Offer discounts/competitions
- Make sales
SIMPLE!
